Italiansped recently completed a complex international logistics operation, handling the shipment of a SACMI press from the Imola plant to its installation site via the ports of Ravenna and Malmö, Sweden.

The project required careful planning every step of the way on account of the machine’s exceptional weight and size, as well as a certain fragility that necessitated specific handling, stowage and shipping procedures.

Thanks to its team’s expertise and seamless coordination among all the parties involved, Italiansped was able to handle the entire operation, down to the finest detail: from port operations to load planning, from in-voyage monitoring to unloading at the port of Malmö and, lastly, delivery of the equipment to the customer.
