Planning, punctuality, and utmost attention to every detail. A new international shipment has been successfully completed, which saw ITALIANSPED organise and coordinate the transport of an exceptionally large and heavy cargo. The journey, starting from Livorno, made a stop in Charleston, South Carolina, and then continued to its final destination in Tennessee, where the main ceramic district of the USA is located.
 
An unprecedented challenge
The load consisted of Sacmi machinery, a large press for the ceramic industry. Specifically, it was the heaviest single item ever transported to the American ceramic district in twenty years of supply.
 
Planning and strategy
After careful technical evaluation, it was decided that the most effective and secure solution was to plan a scheduled service with disembarkation in Charleston. Once there, the press was transferred to a port area equipped to continue its journey with a special truck to the final destination, crossing three states (South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee).
 
Objective achieved
Despite the size and complexity of the transport, the shipment was carried out with the utmost care and fully adhering to the agreed timelines, demonstrating the commitment and dedication of ITALIANSPED in providing innovative and reliable solutions to its customers for the most complex challenges in the industry."
