This takes account of every detail, from vehicle height, axle loads and routes compatible with heavy vehicles to the timetabling constraints of urban areas and the various load types (stackable or not). Planning also takes unloading times and delivery priorities into consideration by positioning goods in the most suitable part of the truck, and involves assessment of alternative scenarios and management of any unforeseen events.
