DGR Freight Shipping to Bangladesh
One of the most recent challenges concerns a shipment  of CAO (Cargo Aircraft Only) dangerous goods, coming from Germany and containing resins of different nature and quantity, to Dhaka-Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Bangladesh.
The difficulty was not only to find a cargo service that would accept DGR CAO goods on a destination served by only two carriers, but also to get the OK from all the countries crossed by the transport and the country of destination, as per IATA regulations.
 
The ITALIANSPED solution
To optimise transport and costs ITALIANSPED devised a solution that involved collecting the goods from Germany and shipping them via the European hub in Frankfurt. They also opted for a direct overnight flight from Frankfurt to Dhaka, bypassing possible stopovers and minimizing the risk of damage to the goods.
