Project Cargo: Destination Uganda
One of the most recent projects was carried out for Crown Beverages Ltd. The company entrusted ITALIANSPED with the airfreight of a complete bottling plant from Italy to Uganda.
The operation involved the use of five very large-capacity cargo aircraft, capable of handling crates of particularly large dimensions and weight: from the Boeing 747/400 Freighter to the Antonov 124, the largest transport aircraft in the world.
 
Precise and punctual handling
Several number of extraordinary road journeys were necessary from the factory to the Gabriele D'Annunzio airport in Brescia-Montichiari, where the goods were handled and the aircraft loaded very quickly.

Due to the exceptional size of the plant to be assembled and installed at the Ugandan production site, the shipments, were divided into several parts. It was a particularly demanding and complex job, but one that once again gave ITALIANSPED the opportunity to demonstrate its skills as a logistics control tower and project cargo engineering expert, guaranteeing its customers the utmost attention to detail, precision and punctuality in every sector in which it operates.
