Approximately 1,500 tonnes of expensive machinery recovered thanks to the intervention of SACMI-Italiansped, the company of shipping, transportation and logistics and logistic of the SACMI Group.
Destined to SACMI customers, the machines were deployed within one of the Italian warehouses of the Group, declared unavailable by the fire departments due to the instability of a bearing column following an accidental collision.
The operation was conducted using modern autonomous (unmanned) vehicles to facilitate recovery operations in total safety.
Double results. In addition to the economic damage avoided, the recovered materials can in fact be shipped to customers, who will not suffer delays in deliveries.

For SACMI-Italiansped a further confirmation of the ability to propose itself as a 360° interlocutor for the management of complex operations involving the handling, loading-unloading and logistics of exceptional loads, including, as in this case, the intervention in restricted or at risk areas.
