After showing you how goods enter the warehouse, we now take a look at the outbound phase.
This clip is all about picking the goods: as with placement of the piece inside the semi-automatic warehouse, laser technology is again used at the picking stage, indicating which material needs to be taken from the tray. Then comes piece bagging, plus labeling with the proper code. Special smartphone software lets users track every stage of picking: this mirrors the functions of the automatic warehouse, showing, for example, piece location, photos of material ID data, quantities and photographic detection of picked materials. All outbound shipment procedures end with a reading of HCB customs specifications for the individual piece: an operator checks the characteristics of the goods (brand, model, color, main construction material...), highlighting the information that will be needed at customs.
