Communication and problem solving: specialized training for Italiansped personnel
In March, Italiansped dedicated several days to skills development in relational dynamics and communication, increasingly important fields in an ever-faster, more impatient, uncertain world.
Co-organized with the Fondazione Aldini-Valeriani (FAV), the aim was to offer a practical approach to the most common negotiation dynamics: topics included errors to avoided, strategies and best practices for problem solving.
Now part of the permanent Italiansped personnel training plan, this course was launched in 2019 and involves, in 2022, a further 15 persons.
Skills development is one of the cornerstones of Italiansped, a leading player in shipping and integrated logistics services for over 50 years. This "Communication and Negotiation" course, aimed at staff in the sales offices, aims to strengthen that cornerstone further.
How to communicate effectively in a world that is getting faster and faster? How to build empathetic relationships, overcome suspicion and misunderstandings? This course, which started in March 2022, seeks to answer those questions, and many more besides.
In a VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) world, “relationships” are valuable assets. That’s why they were the focus of the first training day, “Communicating with the world”, followed by a second meeting dedicated to problem solving, anticipating potential issues and applying solutions more quickly, collaboratively and effectively.
